30 September 2022
On 28 September, we were pleased to welcome a delegation of 17 representatives working on the “TAKA NADIFA” project, co-financed by European Union. The purpose of the visit was to present how the electricity grid is coordinated in Europe and to exchange on the best practices, as our guests’ project aims to support the renewable energy sector (mainly electricity) and energy efficiency in Algeria.
We presented to the delegation our RCC mission to contribute to securing and optimising the EU electricity grid. Our guests were particularly interested in the way operational activities are forecasted in presence of significant renewable energy generation. They also wanted to learn how cross-border congestions are typically managed.
